Longhorn Transformation Pack 10

代號又稱做 Longhorn Transformation Pack X ，是繼 9.0 作者在 WinHEC大會之後的新作，企圖依照評估版的 LONGHORN 修改更多 WINDOWS XP 的細節，修正了修改介面與圖示的基本方法，支援多國語言（但是沒看到有針對東方語系 SHELL32 的修正，所以英文版安裝為宜），原本預計要能夠支援64bit的XP，但是結果作者說是「失敗」（FAILED）了，我猜想是新的 WOW 模式將PATCH結果導向不相同的資料夾，並沒有辦法用相同 32bit 的轉換方式直接 PATCH 在 64bit 保護模式下的 64bit 版本 Windows XP 系統檔案而導致失敗，也有可能是因為在 Windows x64 中有兩個不同版本的函示庫（ 32 & 64 ）讓程式製作與比對更加困難，而導致失敗，作者應該可以分別推出兩個不同封包針對 32bit 版本與 64bit 版的 XP 來下載使用。
如果不看技術或未試用過 LONGHORN 驚人的搜尋技術與伺服器級核心而認為 LONGHORN 只是一個華麗的 XP 的使用者，不妨下載這個全新的 TRANSFORMATION PACK 來使用，就當作自己已經升級成 LONGHORN 好了。
這個 Longhorn Transformation Pack 10 （ Longhorn Transformation Pack X ）於 5 月 25 日發表，至今半個月， Google 跟 Yahoo 搜尋都沒有繁體中文的網頁有相關新版的消息，情況跟上次一樣，這邊又是第一個公布的地點，持續觀察某站中。
